The Cactus Car Modelers Club, based in the Phoenix Metro area, was organized in 2005 to promote and enhance the hobby of miniature automotive model car building.  Members build a variety of types and styles of automotive models, meet monthly to discuss ideas and techniques, share their works in progress, and hold themed competitions. At the end of the club’s year, monthly winners compete for the club’s prestigious Model Of The Year award.

Since 2006, the Cactus Car Modelers Club has organized and presented the  Desert Scale Classic model car show and contest every April in Phoenix.

Membership is open to modelers of all ages with an interest in automotive modeling. Meetings are held at rotating locations (members’ homes) and guests are welcome to visit before joining.
